And just as you find similarities in the challenges entrepreneurs and leaders face, you also find them on the ambition side of things, as they almost universally want to 10x their lives and businesses. What do you contribute your success to? Perseverance, resilience, and coaching. I know exactly what the entrepreneurial struggle feels like, per all the challenges mentioned above. For years my success came at the price of my health and most important relationships. And just when I felt like things were under control the equation would feel imbalanced once again. Then through a process of marginal gains, I re-engineered my approach to business and life. I realised that personal and professional satisfaction are deeply connected, and that success is about getting the right things done while maintaining your health and positive relationships. Since then, my life has never been the same, and these days my favourite wins are at home, with my wife Gisele, and my two sons, Alex and Leo. It’s the only way to truly realise your full potential. Heck, Steve Jobs, the Google founders, Eric Schmidt – they all had coaches! And on that note, if you’re ready to close the gap between who you are and who you’re capable of being, then please get in touch via www.ericpartaker.com as I’d love to see if I can help. I draw on my experience at McKinsey, my time helping build Skype’s multi-billion dollar success story, and my journey from Founder to CEO at Chilango, together with some behavioural science from Stanford University.
