Since 2003, he has led the strategy, growth, and vision for the company as it expanded from a niche provider of lease management applications to the category leader in the $1 billion plus Enterprise Lease Accounting market. In recent years, Michael has focused on scaling the business both in North America and in Europe as LeaseAccelerator has tripled its revenues and employee base. Michael is considered an expert in the new lease accounting standards, one of the biggest accounting changes in history, that will result in over $2 trillion in operating leases transferring onto corporate balance sheets by the year 2021. He is a frequent presenter at accounting conferences throughout the world and has been extensively quoted in financial publications from Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Wall Street Journal. Michael has more than 20 years of experience building software businesses. Prior to joining LeaseAccelerator, he served as President of Onmark Corporation, an international IT leasing company. Before Onmark, Michael founded and managed two software companies, DataZen (1999-2002) and Ecologic Corporation (1993-1999). Michael is a graduate of New York University with a master’s in IT (1993) and Georgetown University with a bachelor’s from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service (1989). Michael lives in Virginia with his wife and three children.
