In that time, he has worked for ROCC Computers and PCL Ltd before setting up his own company, Advanced Data Services Ltd during 1999. (ADS) quickly established itself early in its development by winning the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Best Business Start-up 1999 for its rapid development and securing the contracts for major organisations such as The General Teaching Council, Scottish Power and a host of marketing agencies throughout the UK. During the year 2000, the company went onto gain major new clients such as The Scottish Government, The Driving Standards Agency and all the marketing response handling for Ford UK. The year culminating in the being awarded the Best Business Start-up from The Bank of Scotland and employing over 30 skilled staff. The following year it built its own dedicated processing centre in Glasgow and opened its London sales office as it continued to provide a highly effective data capture and document scanning service to major government and corporate customers. Under his leadership, the company carried out major projects for The National Archives, The British Library, The United Nations in Geneva and Schlumberger in Brussels. During 2014, he started his new venture Abergower Digital to take forward many of his ideas and ambitions for a highly effective, adaptable, data and document services company that would meet the needs of government and corporate large scale movement from paper based forms processing activities to the digital agenda and help them achieve their ambitions in this marketplace. He has provided consultancy and support services to several key players in the market place as he grows Abergower and he continues to be involved with long established contacts with the sector. With offices in Glasgow, London and Sydney the company is on target to become one of the major players in its niche market. Robin completed his MBA from the University of Glasgow during 1990 and has followed this up with several management and sales development courses over the last 10 years.
